In this article, we discuss the basis of refresher training in the regulation, its duration and the dates between which the first refresher training must be completed.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"pm-ozet\" aria-label=\"In brief\">\n<p class=\"pm-etiket\">In brief<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mediation refresher training is regulated in Article 32\/6 of the Regulation on the Law on Mediation in Civil Disputes published in Official Gazette No. 30439 of 2 June 2018.<\/li>\n<li>Refresher training is provided in theoretical and practical form by institutions authorised to provide training, once every three years and for a total of not less than eight hours.<\/li>\n<li>Mediators must attend the training within the third year from the date of their registration in the registry; for those registered before 1\/1\/2018, the publication date of the Regulation is deemed to be the registration date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/aside>\n<div class=\"pm-not\">\n<p class=\"pm-etiket\">Currency note<\/p>\n<p>This article was prepared in accordance with the legislation and practice in force on the date of its publication. Mediators must attend refresher training within the third year following the date of their registration in the register.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><cite>Regulation on the Law on Mediation in Civil Disputes, Article 32\/6<\/cite>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Under the Regulation, refresher training is, in brief, regulated as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pm-liste\">\n<li><strong>Veren:<\/strong> Institutions authorised to provide mediation training<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nitelik:<\/strong> Theoretical and practical<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> Not less than eight hours in total<\/li>\n<li><strong>Frequency:<\/strong> Once every three years<\/li>\n<li><strong>Attendance:<\/strong> Within the third year from the date of registration in the registry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"ilk-donem\">\n<h2>Registrations before 1\/1\/2018 and the First Refresher Period<\/h2>\n<p>Likewise, Provisional Article 1, set out under the heading \u201cMiscellaneous and Final Provisions\u201d of the same regulation,<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pm-kanun\">\n<p>\u201cAs the registration date on which refresher training is based<\/p>\n<p>PROVISIONAL ARTICLE 1 \u2013 (1) For those registered in the register before 1\/1\/2018, the date on which this Regulation is published in the Official Gazette shall be deemed the date of registration in the register for the purposes of paragraph six of Article 32.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><cite>Regulation on the Law on Mediation in Civil Disputes, Provisional Article 1<\/cite>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>so provides.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pm-not\">\n<p class=\"pm-etiket\">First renewal period<\/p>\n<p>In that case <strong>the first mediation refresher training must be completed between 02.06.2020, the start of the third year, and 02.06.2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"sss\" class=\"pm-sss\">\n<h2>Mediation Refresher Training: Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n<details open>\n<summary>How often, and for at least how many hours, is mediation refresher training provided?<\/summary>\n<div>\n<p>Under Article 32\/6 of the Regulation as cited in the article, refresher training is provided in theoretical and practical form by institutions authorised to provide mediation training, once every three years and for a total of not less than eight hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>Within what period must mediators attend refresher training?<\/summary>\n<div>\n<p>Under the same provision, mediators must attend refresher training within the third year from the date of their registration in the registry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>How is the registration date determined for mediators registered before 1\/1\/2018?<\/summary>\n<div>\n<p>Under provisional Article 1 of the Regulation, for these mediators the date on which the Regulation was published in the Official Gazette is deemed to be the date of registration.
